Yana shares her journey: “I currently play for Liverpool FC Women and the Belgium national team. In my free time, I enjoy making wood products. From a young age, I’ve been concerned about climate change and our responsibility to reduce our carbon footprint. I combined my studies in Agriculture and Biotechnology with my passion for woodworking. One of the most important ways to mitigate climate change is to reduce our dependence on fossil resources. Wood is a renewable, recyclable, and reusable material.”
