Liverpool Football Club are pleased to announce that New Balance, worldwide sports apparel manufacturer, will be the club’s official football kit supplier from the 2015-16 season onwards.
The Liverpool/New Balance partnership will start from the 2015-16 football season, with New Balance responsible for the design of the official Liverpool kit and training range. The multi-year deal is set to be the biggest football kit supplier collaboration in the history of Liverpool Football Club.
This announcement comes at an exciting time of overseas expansion for the club, with Liverpool football products now to be sold in more than 500 New Balance retail stores around worldwide.
Chief commercial officer Billy Hogan said: "We are delighted to be able to announce this partnership with one of the world's leading sportswear apparel brands; it is a record-breaking deal for the club.
"Like Liverpool FC, the New Balance brand has more than 100 years of heritage and a global footprint.
"Not only are they well known for their technical innovation across a wide range of sports but they also have a strong presence in lots of countries around the globe, which will all feature LFC kit. We are very excited about joining forces with them."
Boston-based New Balance is one of the largest private businesses in the United States, employing more than 4,000 workers, and manufacturing sports apparel from sites both in the USA and in the UK.
