Western Union Patch

From the start of the 2017-18 season all Liverpool FC shirts will carry the Western Union sleeve sponsor patch for all EPL & Cup games.

The patch will not be applied to the kit for Champions League or Europa League games as the shirts will carry the Champions League star ball, 5 times and respect patches.

The Western Union patch will be available free of charge to all LFC fans that have purchased a 2017-18 Liverpool FC shirt and will be available via LFC Retail in-store and online from Sunday 27th August until 31st October 2017. Full details will follow on www.liverpoolfc.com soon.

Where can I get the patch?

  • For existing 2017-18 shirts purchased in-store LFC will provide the WU patch free of charge if the customer brings their shirt or proof of purchase into any LFC store before 31st October 2017. This will be an iron on version provided with instructions for the customer to apply at home with a domestic iron. This will be limited to one patch per shirt purchased.   • For Existing 2017-18 shirts purchased online LFC will supply the WU patch free of charge before 31st October 2017. This will be an iron on version for the customer to apply at home with a domestic iron. This will be limited to one patch per shirt purchased and proof of purchase will need to be provided.
  • All new 2017-18 shirt purchases (online and in-store) which opt for a Premier League patch will also get the WU patch free of charge. This will be printed by LFC at point of purchase.
  • All new 2017-18 shirt purchases which don’t opt for the Premier League patch option will be offered the WU patch free of charge – this will be an iron on version provided with instructions for the customer to apply at home with a domestic iron.

When will the patch be available?

How much will the patch cost?

How do I apply the patch?

  • The patch will be provided with instructions for the customer to iron on with a domestic iron.
  • All new 2017-18 shirt purchases (online and in-store) which opt for a Premier League patch will be printed by with a WU patch by LFC at point of purchase.
  • Patches applied by the customer are done so at their own risk, LFC accept no responsibility if a patch is applied incorrectly or the shirt is damaged as a result.

When will the team wear the patch?

Which sleeve will the patch be printed on?

  • The WU patch will go on the left sleeve as worn with the standard PL patch on the right hand sleeve.

What do I do if my shirt already has two premier league patches printed on?

  • Unfortunately, customers that have purchased 2017-18 shirts with two premier league patches will be unable to add a WU logo to their shirt sleeve as there would be no space available to add this. Custom printed merchandise cannot be exchanged or refunded and Liverpool FC reserves the right to add or remove any third party brands to its Liverpool shirts.
